This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and acquire distinctive data center capacity opportunities on a global scale.
• Analyze market trends, operator availability, regional limitations, and emerging prospects.
• Maintain databases for sourcing intelligence and operator profiles.
• Develop and sustain market knowledge across key data center markets and providers.
• Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to foster relationships and discover opportunities.
• Establish and nurture robust working relationships with data center operators and strategic partners.
• Conduct preliminary qualification and validation discussions with operators.
• Collaborate with DCSS leadership to evaluate and approve or reject referral capacity opportunities.
• Assess referred capacity opportunities prior to client presentation.
• Gather and verify technical, operational, and commercial data from operators.
• Enter and manage operator information in relevant systems, tools, and client-facing documentation.
• Collect bids, pricing, and service details from data center operators.
• Organize and compile operator responses into formats suitable for presentations.
• Assist customer-facing teams with market intelligence, benchmarks, and capacity insights.
• Keep precise records of pricing, service levels, capabilities, and operator differentiators.
• Aid in preparing materials that support customer proposals and solution recommendations.
• Coordinate NDAs and necessary documentation with referrers, operators, and clients.
• Oversee follow-up activities with operators and internal stakeholders.
• Support sourcing escalations, urgent customer requests, and special projects.
• Help the sales organization with urgent sourcing needs.
• Execute additional sourcing and operational support tasks as assigned.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data center operations, colocation services, telecommunications, infrastructure sourcing, market research, or a related area.
• Strong analytical, research, and market intelligence skills.
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating across teams.
• Experience in gathering, validating, and analyzing technical and commercial information.
• Customer-centric mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Preferred experience with data center providers, colocation operators, cloud providers, or telecommunications organizations.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure, power, cooling, connectivity, and colocation services is preferred.
