Data Capture Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Input, verify, research, review, and update relevant insurance information into the computer system.

• Process payments to insurance companies to safeguard clients' interests.

• Conduct outbound calls to clarify details and investigate the automated matching system.

• Correct any updates in the system regarding files and execute necessary corrective payments.

• Address escrow disbursement inconsistencies by examining loans.

• Analyze insurance documents requiring further research due to incomplete information.

• Investigate, verify, and update the status of loan insurance details through website navigation.

• Disburse insurance premiums via manual processes.

• Assess whether a document can be utilized to update or comment on a loan.

• Timely enter updates to insurance data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.

• Execute data processing and customer service tasks in support of the SWBC Escrow Tracking Program.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.

• Preferred minimum of two (2) years of data entry, customer service, or related experience in a Mortgage or Banking setting.

• Basic knowledge of mortgage escrow accounts or homeowners insurance.

• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities for making and receiving calls from insurance agencies.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills to manage multiple work assignments.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficient computer skills and accurate keyboard abilities in using applications like MS Word and Excel.

• Familiarity with general office equipment such as phone systems, copiers, scanners, and similar devices.

• Capability to sit for extended periods while performing sedentary tasks.

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. of files, supplies, documents, or other related items.

• Flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings, late evenings, or weekends.

• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes.

• Capability to meet departmental expectations and manage repetitive tasks.
