This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Define comprehensive data architecture encompassing integration, storage, processing, and consumption.
• Set standards for conceptual, logical, and relational/dimensional modeling, as well as data quality, metadata, lineage, and lifecycle management.
• Design, optimize, and implement strategies for data ingestion, transformation (ETL/ELT), sharing, and exposure through APIs, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Hubs.
• Provide guidance on platform and Modern Data Stack tool selections, including the Snowflake environment and reusable components.
• Ensure adherence to security, privacy (LGPD), retention, segregation, and governance requirements within the environment.
• Collect business requirements and assist in developing use cases for analytics, BI, interactive dashboards, and operational intelligence.
• Assess risks, dependencies, costs, capacity, and ongoing support needs for the data platform.
• Encourage documentation, technical training, monitoring of market trends, and the evolution of the data ecosystem.
• Prioritize, document, and clearly communicate results and deliverables.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and deviations, implementing action plans and timely escalations.
• Maintain processes, decisions, models, and supporting evidence in a manner that is auditable, efficient, and easily accessible.
• Provide continuous support and optimization for the company’s reports, dashboards, and data infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience in scalable data architecture, engineering, development, and modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI or equivalent).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, storage architecture (Data Lake/Lakehouse/Warehouse), ETL/ELT pipelines, and API-based integration.
• Understanding of data governance, quality, security, and privacy principles.
• Practical experience with Python, the Modern Data Stack ecosystem, and Snowflake Data Lake.
• Capability to serve as a bridge between technology and business, translating organizational needs into technical solutions.
• Official data or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake) are advantageous.
• Experience with operational data in logistics, inventory, assets, or mobility is a plus.
