Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions with clients’ business units and management teams.

• Organize requirements and convert them into a preliminary architectural vision.

• Create modern, scalable, and future-proof data platforms.

• Provide guidance to clients on choosing appropriate technologies.

• Facilitate integration into existing IT environments utilizing Databricks or SAP Datasphere.

• Develop and orchestrate data products.

• Execute data modeling, ensure data quality, and implement data governance.

• Establish governance, processes, and architectural guidelines to serve as blueprints for implementation.

• Opportunity to focus on Data Governance or architecture.

• Gradually take charge of larger architecture modules, offer in-depth consulting to clients, assist in developing standards, and manage your own projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally, around 2–3 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based Data & Analytics solutions.

• Familiarity with SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP Datasphere) or Databricks.

• Basic knowledge of data modeling (3NF, Data Vault, Star Schema) or data architectures.

• A keen interest in developing and deploying data products.

• Strong analytical skills and a proactive, independent mindset.

• Confident communication skills when interacting with colleagues and clients.

• Business-fluent German at C-level proficiency.

• Proficient command of English.
