Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Establish and refine data architecture standards and best practices.

• Create and implement architectures for Data Lake and Data Warehouse/Lakehouse.

• Design data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for ingestion, transformation, and consumption.

• Develop data models that align with analytics and business needs.

• Ensure data governance, quality, and security across various platforms.

• Define integration patterns between microservices and data systems.

• Provide architectural guidance and solution design support to delivery teams.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable data solutions.

• Contribute to decisions regarding cloud data architecture across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of experience in Data Architecture.

• More than 6 years of experience working with SQL.

• At least 4 years of experience in Data modeling.

• 4+ years of experience with Data Lake / Data Warehouse.

• 4+ years of experience with ELT/ETL pipelines.

• Over 4 years of experience with Relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2).

• 3+ years of experience with Spark or distributed processing environments.

• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

• 3+ years of experience with Microservices data integration.

• 3+ years of experience in data governance and data security practices.

• 2+ years of experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse).

• 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, HBase).

• 2+ years of experience with API integration (REST / SOAP).

• 2+ years of experience with Python or similar languages for data processing.

• Proficiency in English is required for this position, as you will be interacting with clients in the US. Effective communication in English is crucial for delivering optimal solutions to our clients and broadening your professional opportunities.
