This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of agile software development initiatives as a Technical Leader.
• Address audit requirements and actively participate in the RFP process.
• Promote adherence to data governance and industry best practices.
• Synchronize business and IT strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
• Develop high-quality code in the capacity of a hands-on Data and Integration Engineer.
• Support problem resolution, conduct root cause analysis, troubleshoot issues, and provide coaching.
• Identify enhancements to boost system reliability, security, and performance.
• Generate detailed data visualizations and deliver value-added insights to senior management.
• Manage a team as necessary.
• Establish strategic IT goals and guide subordinates in achieving product strategy.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external clients regarding software development tasks.
• Evaluate task feasibility, time requirements, and effort needed.
• Provide updates to users and programmers on project progress.
• Oversee projects, detect potential issues, and steer projects toward successful outcomes.
• Allocate work and supervise tasks among programmers, analysts, project managers, supervisors, and managers.
• Assist in budget preparation and oversight.
• Mentor team members and assess staff performance.
• Continue to engage in hands-on programming and analysis activities.
• Monitor project requests and consistently update project statuses.
• Assess work effort for incoming project requests.
• Plan development and provide support for a specific functional systems area.
• Review the work of subordinate staff and generate performance reports.
• Participate in planning and budgeting activities.
• Adhere to security responsibilities, controls, legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal policy obligations.
• Over 6 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3–4 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, secure software in IT.
• Knowledge or training in Agile methodologies and Design Thinking.
• Strong critical thinking abilities.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• AWS Certification.
• Big Data/Hadoop Certification.
• Training in ServiceNow.
• A Bachelor's degree, or a combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.
• Capability to meet position-specific security responsibilities, controls, legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal policy requirements.
