This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take charge of and manage the Snowflake environment: Oversee the complete Snowflake ecosystem, which includes performance tuning, RBAC security modeling, cost optimization, user permissions, and compute management.
• Lead the development of dbt Foundations: Spearhead the creation of our dbt project, setting standards for modeling, testing, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Connect Global Teams: Serve as the main technical liaison between North American leadership and India-based resources, facilitating smooth requirement translation and project execution across different time zones.
• Implement AI in Operations: Incorporate AI-assisted development (Claude Code, LLMs) into workflows to automate routine tasks and speed up the delivery of new data products.
• Revamp GTM Data: Replace and improve the 'Warehouse-First' models by consolidating data from Salesforce, product usage, and marketing tools into a single, coherent source of truth.
• Maintain Data Integrity: Develop and manage data quality monitoring, observability, and alerting frameworks to ensure that business-critical dashboards are reliable and accurate.
• 5-7+ years of experience in Data Analytics Architecture or Data Engineering, with a proven ability to manage a large-scale cloud data warehouse.
• Expertise in Snowflake architecture, administration, and performance enhancement.
• Advanced knowledge of dbt (Core or Cloud), with experience in macros, packages, and managing complex DAGs.
• Proven experience working within a distributed team, particularly in coordinating efforts between Western Europe, North America, and India.
• Proficient in version control (Git), SQL, and Python, with a strong emphasis on creating maintainable, 'code-first' data solutions.
• Familiarity (or a high level of comfort) with using Claude Code and other AI development tools to boost productivity and improve code quality.
• A solid understanding of SaaS metrics and Go-To-Market data flows (Salesforce, Marketo, Revenue Ops) is highly preferred.
• Native or near-native English fluency, with the capability to articulate technical debt, architectural decisions, and data lineage to non-technical stakeholders.
