Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop data visualizations.

• Diagnose and resolve database technical issues in collaboration with the development team.

• Generate monthly Excel and Google Sheets reports from the database.

• Conduct independent analyses of data sets to uncover opportunities for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.

• Execute quality assurance checks on data to identify potential gaps.

• Address data-related technical challenges and assist with data infrastructure requirements.

• Compile extensive and intricate data sets that fulfill both functional and non-functional business needs.

• Collaborate with data and analytics specialists to enhance the functionality of our data systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university, along with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Foster productive working relationships both internally and externally.

• Utilize judgment within established procedures and practices to determine suitable actions.

• Proficient in SQL, including the creation and modification of macros, as well as designing dashboards using SQL code.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookup and reference formulas (e.g., vlookups), statistical formulas (countifs, sumifs), macros (capable of creating new and editing existing), conditional formatting, data importation, and graph/chart creation.

• Capability to independently analyze large data sets, including identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends, gaps, and patterns within complex data.
