Data Analyst – Health IT Informatics Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Delivers essential data analysis, reporting, and documentation assistance for ORIS metrics, readiness monitoring, and operational dashboards.

• Engages in requirements gathering and analysis, information modeling, process documentation, and liaison activities necessary to facilitate the creation of clinical informatics software or related clinical informatics project initiatives.

• Operates independently or with minimal supervision.

• Conducts data collection, cleansing, and preliminary analysis for identifying trends, training metrics, and readiness scores.

• Aids in the creation of dashboards utilized in Weekly and Monthly Reports.

• Contributes to the preparation of data packages for the Informatics Surge Readiness Index.

• Records data definitions and reporting methodologies.

• Assists with ad-hoc analytical requests from the Program Manager, Clinical Informaticists, and Data Manager.

• Provides data governance support as necessary, ensuring the maintenance or enhancement of data quality and integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience substitution)

• At least 4 years of specialized experience in requirements analysis, data analysis, or health IT documentation

• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools

• Previous experience with clinical or operational healthcare data, especially Federal EHR

• Strong attention to detail and capability to handle incomplete or rapidly evolving data sets.
