This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Ensure precise integration of data from diverse referential and external sources into downstream systems, maintaining high standards of data quality and consistency.
• Execute and conduct first-level database controls, proactively initiating or modifying processes to enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of complex transformations and computations utilized to generate all computed data within the organization’s systems.
• Deliver exceptional support to end-users, independently addressing requests from data users and project teams.
• Collaborate closely with Data Referential, IT, and Data Governance teams to resolve cross-functional data issues and maintain end-to-end data consistency.
• Identify data-related issues, assess their potential impacts and risks, and propose effective solutions to stakeholders.
• Partner with key service providers (e.g., Blackrock, State Street) and engage in governance meetings to monitor and resolve critical data topics.
• Provide subject matter expertise in operational processes and data modeling to assist various IT and Business project teams.
• Ensure that any deviations from standard operating models are formally approved internally and thoroughly documented.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance (preferably in asset management), with substantial experience in operational roles (Data, IT, front, middle, or back office).
• Comprehensive understanding of operational processes and the utilization of major data users (portfolio management, middle office, risk, quant, compliance, financial controllers).
• Practical experience with Aladdin or Adjuto.
• Independent approach to analyzing and resolving complex requests from end-users (going beyond Standard Operating Procedures).
• Capability to comprehend data in-flows and out-flows, technical architecture, and business transformations applied to data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to conduct control checks, investigate discrepancies, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Proactive attitude in identifying operational risks and taking appropriate initiatives for risk mitigation.
