β’ Investigating our datasets to uncover new insights regarding American criminal justice systems
β’ Contextualizing and relaying key findings to both internal and external stakeholders
β’ Working alongside our State Engagement and Implementation Engineering teams to design and implement targeted roadmaps that create impact in the states we serve
β’ Collaborating with our Product Management, Data Science, and Software Engineering teams to integrate analyses and data modeling into production software
β’ Examining trends and changes in areas related to our work to gain a better understanding of how our products operate
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to foster a knowledgeable, data-driven culture
β’ Strong enthusiasm for engaging with internal and external partners from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, including government personnel, researchers, journalists, technical staff, and practitioners in criminal justice reform
β’ Capability to scrutinize source data, analyze data models, closely examine results, and prepare data and analyses that are applicable for various uses
β’ A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience exploring, analyzing, and processing complex datasets
β’ Professional experience with SQL, specifically in managing large datasets, including a high level of proficiency in crafting efficient queries for intricate data extraction and transformation tasks
β’ Strong familiarity with Python, particularly the Pandas package, for tasks involving statistical analysis and data visualization
