This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Produce valuable analyses from extensive data concerning production, testing, and deployments.
• Assist New Product Introduction (NPI) teams as well as product operations.
• Convert intricate production and quality concepts into data-driven metrics, intuitive dashboards, and AI-enhanced applications.
• Transform manual procedures into automated, scalable, and analytics-focused systems.
• Recognize and implement opportunities for automating manual tasks through AI and advanced analytics.
• Create AI-driven recommendation systems.
• Design, develop, and sustain interactive dashboards and reports utilizing tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar alternatives.
• Compile summaries and presentations for management.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Advanced skills in SQL and a comprehensive understanding of data modeling and normalization best practices.
• Proficiency in Python (or R) for data analysis, including experience with the PyData ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, scikit-learn).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical analysis abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in creating dashboards, reports, and structured datasets to facilitate business and engineering decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Over 5 years of experience with cloud data warehouses such as Google BigQuery or equivalent platforms (preferred).
• Knowledge of Google Cloud data products (Vertex AI, Colab, Cloud APIs) (preferred).
• More than 5 years of experience in developing interactive dashboards with Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable tools (preferred).
• Practical experience with AI/ML models, large language models (LLMs), and AI-powered process automation (preferred).
• Background in electronic manufacturing processes, quality engineering, testing, or reliability (preferred).
• Understanding of data governance concepts, data quality management, or master data management (MDM) (preferred).
• Familiarity with operational topics such as workforce planning, resource allocation, or vendor/contractor tracking (TVC) (preferred).
