Data & AI Product Discovery Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct user interviews, usability testing, contextual research, and validation experiments.

• Design and refine low- to mid-fidelity prototypes, concept sketches, storyboards, and interaction flows.

• Create and sustain user personas, journey maps, workflow diagrams, and experience models.

• Assist in dual-track discovery and delivery alongside engineering and product teams.

• Organize co-creation sessions with users, subject matter experts, and business partners.

• Analyze research data and generate actionable insights and recommendations.

• Establish and monitor desirability, usability, and preliminary business-value metrics.

• Collaborate with Data & AI product, engineering, analytics, and architecture teams.

• Manage research documentation, prototypes, repositories, and design standards.

• Guarantee that solutions adhere to accessibility, compliance, and technical feasibility standards.

• Continuously enhance discovery practices based on feedback, outcomes, and emerging best practices.

• Execute other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in UX research, product discovery, product design, or human-centered design.

• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience is required.

• Familiarity with tools such as ADO, Jira, Confluence, and other agile project management and collaboration tools is highly preferred.

• Strong skills in research, synthesis, prototyping, and collaboration.

• Proficient in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Lovable, React).

• Ability to communicate findings effectively and influence product decisions.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and framing problems prior to proposing solutions.

• Understanding of the Product Operating Model.

• A bias for action.
