Danish to English Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, ensuring effective communication between English and non-English speakers.

• Deliver exceptional customer service during interpretation sessions.

• Enable communication between individuals with Limited English Proficiency and clients by providing accurate interpretations.

• Take notes during calls and remain mindful of specific industry vocabulary.

• Adhere to technical requirements for remote work, including the use of appropriate equipment and a stable internet connection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional remote interpreter with fluency in Danish and English.

• Familiarity with specific terminology in the healthcare and medical sectors.

• Capability to deliver precise interpretation without adding, omitting, or altering messages.

• Adherence to the Interpreter's code of ethics.

• Openness to participate in internal professional training and pursue additional certifications.

• A dedicated high-speed secure internet connection is necessary, with minimum speeds of 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• Computer systems must meet minimum specifications (Windows 10, dual-core processor, 8 GB RAM).

• A noise-cancelling wired headset with a built-in microphone is mandatory.
