Czech to English OPI/VRI Interpretation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Handle calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific terminology relevant to the industry, particularly in healthcare and medicine.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or altering content.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the interpretation process.

• Assist in communication between clients who are Limited English Proficient and provide precise interpretation of messages.

• Implement established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training programs.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report to your team leader regularly.

• Adhere to dress code policies for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluency in the source language (English) and native proficiency in the target language "Czech".

• A minimum of 1 year of telephone interpretation experience in a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• International certifications in the healthcare field are beneficial (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Strong emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
