This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Conduct investigations into potential security threats.
• Elevate issues to higher-level support when deemed necessary.
• Effectively assess and understand the cybersecurity support needs of customers.
• Rigorously apply cybersecurity principles to protect customer information.
• Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures of Trapp and ArmorPoint.
• Review alerts and gather data for incident response to facilitate further investigation.
• Assist in conducting forensic analysis when required.
• Research new threats and vulnerabilities to enhance incident identification.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and challenges in cybersecurity.
• Optimize response times and efficiently resolve alerts to meet time-close standards.
• Engage in internal meetings and mandatory training sessions.
• Remain informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Uphold the integrity of the organization and its policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
• At least two years of experience in cybersecurity or IT is required.
• A typing speed of no less than 30 words per minute.
• Security+ certification is highly preferred.
• CySA+, A+, and Net+ certifications are advantageous.
