Security & Endpoint Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and conduct proof-of-concept testing for security platforms related to browser extensions.

• Analyze browser extensions, developer plugins, and AI-driven tools for risks associated with security and compliance.

• Establish governance for extensions, including approval workflows and allowlisting procedures.

• Execute monitoring, reporting, and visibility features.

• Aid in enforcing controls to curb unauthorized use of extensions and mitigate data exfiltration risks.

• Create operational processes, documentation, and support frameworks for ongoing management.

• Contribute to enterprise endpoint security initiatives across macOS, Windows, and Linux environments.

• Implement and uphold endpoint security controls and hardening standards.

• Assist in vulnerability remediation and activities related to endpoint compliance.

• Support initiatives focused on Zero Trust and device trust.

• Collaborate with endpoint engineering teams to find a balance between security needs and user experience.

• Assist in the implementation and operational management of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions like Delinea.

• Support governance of privileged accounts, conduct access reviews, and promote least privilege initiatives.

• Engage in security assessments, audits, and compliance programs.

• Create operational documentation, runbooks, and implementation guides.

• Develop automation scripts to enhance security operations and minimize manual tasks.

• Work alongside Security, Corporate Fleet, Infrastructure, and Identity teams to ensure project success.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Security Engineering, Endpoint Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong grasp of endpoint security principles and enterprise device management.

• Experience supporting large-scale macOS and Windows environments.

• Familiarity with browser security, extension governance, and tools for endpoint security.

• Proficient in endpoint management solutions such as Jamf, Intune, FleetDM, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and least-privilege access models.

• Strong scripting capabilities in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or other relevant technologies.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
