This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

• Deploy, configure, and manage Carbon Black and Symantec endpoint agents within enterprise environments.

• Develop and implement policies, rules, and profiles to safeguard endpoints while minimizing business interruptions.

• Engage in discussions regarding endpoint security architecture and contribute to the establishment of baselines and hardening guidelines.

• Monitor and handle alerts, detections, and events from the Carbon Black and Symantec consoles.

• Adjust policies and signatures to decrease false positives while ensuring robust coverage.

• Provide support for agent health, troubleshoot installation problems, connectivity issues, and upgrade cycles.

• Aid in the triage, investigation, and containment of endpoint security incidents.

• Gather and analyze endpoint telemetry using Carbon Black and Symantec tools.

• Collaborate with SOC, IT, and engineering teams to synchronize deployments and operations.

• Maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation.

• Ensure alignment of endpoint controls with security policies and compliance frameworks.

• 3–5 years of experience in information security or endpoint engineering.

• Over 2 years of practical experience administering VMware Carbon Black (App Control, EDR, Cloud).

• More than 2 years of hands-on experience with Symantec endpoint products (SEP, SES, Symantec EDR).

• Understanding of endpoint security concepts, including malware, exploits, and lateral movement.

• Practical knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux internals.

• Familiarity with SIEM/SOC workflows and alert development.

• Strong troubleshooting and documentation capabilities.
