Security Practices Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and execute comprehensive security engagements for enterprise clients.

• Provide guidance to clients on security measures, governance structures, and compliance status for SaaS solutions.

• Collaborate with account management and sales leadership to enhance pre-sales initiatives.

• Serve as a trusted consultant to C-suite executives and senior security leaders (CISO, CTO, VP of IT Security).

• Create and enhance delivery methodologies, accelerators, and reusable resources pertaining to Salesforce security.

• Contribute to the expansion of the security practice by sharing thought leadership, developing go-to-market strategies, and mentoring team members.

• Work collaboratively across departments with Product, Engineering, and Trust teams to remain updated on the Salesforce security roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–12+ years of relevant professional experience.

• Significant experience at a Big 4 consulting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG).

• Background in technology risk, cybersecurity, or enterprise advisory roles.

• Profound knowledge of security principles and control frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls).

• Proven track record of leading client-facing projects.

• Strong instincts in pre-sales and business development.

• Experience in conducting security assessments, identity & access management reviews, data classification, or compliance readiness projects.

• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence.
