This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain allowlisting policies for enterprise applications in both IT and OT environments.

• Establish and manage AppLocker policies tailored for Windows environments.

• Deploy and optimize Microsoft Defender Application Control (WDAC / App Control for Business).

• Implement and oversee Red Hat fapolicyd for Linux systems.

• Define trusted sources utilizing publisher, hash, and path rules.

• Integrate logs into SIEM tools like Splunk for effective monitoring and alerting.

• Develop automation through Group Policy, Intune, and Ansible.

• Minimize attack surface by enforcing default-deny execution controls.

• Collaborate with multiple teams to onboard systems and software into the allowlisting framework.

• Support governance boards (ARB, TRB, CAB) and fulfill documentation requirements.

• Deliverables include Allowlisting policy framework and standards, AppLocker, WDAC, and fapolicyd configurations, automation scripts, deployment guides, documentation for audits and compliance, as well as metrics and reporting on allowlisting effectiveness. Consult with project teams and stakeholders, including IT practitioners, Cybersecurity and Compliance teams, Enterprise Architecture, Applications, Infrastructure, Network, Database, OCM, etc., throughout testing and implementation. All modifications will adhere to Change Management policies and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or endpoint security.

• Practical experience with Microsoft AppLocker Application Control for Business/Windows Defender Application Control (ACFB/WDAC).

• Familiarity with Red Hat fapolicyd and satellite.

• Experience utilizing SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk) for log analysis and alerting.

• Knowledge of Intune and MDE integration.

• Industry-recognized cybersecurity and technology certifications are advantageous.

• Prior experience in a regulated utility environment is beneficial.

• Proven ability to work within a remote, cross-functional team and effectively manage the scope of work.

• Capacity to lead projects with minimal day-to-day supervision.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and escalate issues to sustain project momentum.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation abilities.
