This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement cutting-edge AI-driven security solutions to safeguard enterprise systems, applications, and data.
• Utilize contemporary software engineering methodologies, cloud technologies, and novel AI frameworks to develop secure and scalable applications.
• Set up and integrate cybersecurity systems that effectively reduce risk.
• Diagnose and swiftly resolve escalated incidents.
• Design, construct, configure, maintain, and oversee cybersecurity threat defense capabilities and user access management.
• Facilitate integration and collaboration with managed security service providers.
• Investigate incidents and propose corrective measures.
• Enhance cybersecurity capabilities and align with business goals throughout the organization.
• Typically reports to a Manager or Senior Manager; does not have direct reports.
• Preferred 1–3 years of relevant experience in software development or engineering.
• Proficient in programming with Python and at least one object-oriented programming language, with Java being preferred.
• Experience in developing agentic AI systems using frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph, Google Agent Development Kit (ADK), or equivalent.
• Familiarity with developing or integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clients.
• Knowledge in building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
• Experience with AI evaluation, implementing guardrails, prompt engineering, prompt-injection defense, and unsafe-tool-invocation defense.
• Background in cloud-native application development on Google Cloud Platform, including Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Agent Engine, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Secret Manager; equivalent experience on Azure or AWS is also acceptable.
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries for relational databases.
• Familiarity with relational, NoSQL, and vector databases.
• Experience in building and supporting microservice architectures and APIs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment tools.
• Proficient with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, sensitive data handling, data classification, model endpoint controls, and retention policies.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, cyber threat intelligence, detection engineering, or offensive security, or a demonstrated interest in pursuing this knowledge.
• Experience with debugging, monitoring, root cause analysis, observability, and cost monitoring for LLM applications.
• Skilled in creating and executing unit, functional, integration, performance, and automated tests.
• Understanding of code reviews, testing protocols, documentation, and agile development methodologies.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript frameworks.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience.
• Option for remote/virtual work arrangements.
• Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time.
