Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take charge of discovery, RFP/RFI responses, solution design, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements from inception to completion.

• Convert intricate technical concepts into straightforward, business-oriented narratives suited for both technical audiences and C-suite executives.

• Build trusted relationships with engineering teams, IT leaders, and key decision-makers within customer organizations.

• Design tailored strategies that specifically tackle each customer's distinct security and compliance issues.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Business Development, and Customer Success teams to guarantee smooth solution delivery and an exceptional customer experience.

• Regularly assess market trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to maintain Thales’s solutions at the forefront of innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in pre-sales positions within cybersecurity, enterprise software, networking, or security domains.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Practical experience with WAF, Bot Management, or DDoS solutions.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities in both English (B2+) and Spanish.

• Hands-on experience with cloud and containerization technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker.

• Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), Web Application Security, or Security/Cloud/Networking certifications.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI, SOX, and HIPAA.

• Mexican citizenship or a valid work permit is mandatory.
