Cybersecurity Incident Response Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Oversees and aids in the investigation, containment, and resolution of cybersecurity incidents.

• Monitors and reacts to security events across diverse environments.

• Gathers, correlates, and analyzes data from various sources to detect threats.

• Conducts root cause analysis and documents incidents from detection to review.

• Enhances detection and response capabilities through the development of playbooks.

• Engages in exercises and reviews to bolster incident response capabilities.

• Communicates incident details and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.

• Remains informed about emerging threats and disseminates knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.

• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or a related field is necessary.

• Advanced knowledge and proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.

• Experience in configuring, deploying, and utilizing various security incident response solutions, including SIEM, SOAR, playbooks, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools.

• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud services, third-party risk management, and application security.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards such as PCI, CCPA, and GDPR.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
