Cybersecurity Engineer – SecOps Sr

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Manage and operate the endpoint security platform (servers and workstations), ensuring that all company devices have active protection, correct configurations, and centralized visibility.

• Oversee the antivirus and EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) solution, including alert responses, incident investigations, and continuous improvement of detection rules.

• Develop and maintain internal APIs that allow other Cybersecurity teams and business areas to programmatically access security capabilities without relying on manual processes.

• Automate repetitive operational tasks for the Cyber team: user onboarding and offboarding, credential rotation, automatic alert responses, compliance report generation, among others.

• Integrate security tools with the company’s internal systems (ticketing, communications, deployment pipelines) to create workflows that minimize manual intervention.

• Detect and respond to security incidents on endpoints, coordinating containment and forensic analysis when necessary.

• Maintain visibility of the company's technological asset inventory and the security status of each asset.

• Define and enforce endpoint security policies: disk encryption, access control, patch management, and operating system configuration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience managing endpoint security platforms (EDR/XDR) such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, or similar.

• Experience developing automations, scripts, and integrations between security tools (Python, Bash, or similar).

• Experience building or consuming REST APIs for system integration.

• Knowledge of endpoint management in mixed environments (Linux, macOS, Windows).

• Ability to translate operational needs into automated solutions that other teams can use seamlessly.

• Experience in incident response and security alert analysis.

• Knowledge of SIEM tools and security event correlation.

• Efficiency-oriented mindset: if something is done more than twice, automate it.

• Experience in technology or fintech companies is a plus.
