This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, mentor, and cultivate a team of Security Consultants through ongoing feedback, career progression, and performance assessment.
• Act as a subject matter expert in at least one area of security (web, network, cloud, or mobile) and offer technical advice to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Exhibit proficiency across all types of vulnerability submissions and assist with complex escalations and appeals, collaborating with other business units as necessary.
• Promote operational excellence by tracking team performance, recognizing opportunities for automation, and executing process enhancements.
• Organize, prioritize, and oversee team responsibilities while adapting to evolving business requirements and customer priorities.
• Guide team members and enhance the growth of the wider security organization through knowledge sharing and technical direction.
• Establish strong cross-functional collaborations to optimize workflows and achieve high-quality customer results.
• Conduct efficient meetings, effectively communicate priorities, and ensure prompt execution of action items.
• Serve as a reliable advisor to leadership and clients by offering sound technical judgment and operational insights.
• Remain updated on security industry standards, emerging threats, and best practices to continuously enhance team capabilities.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Security Operations, Application Security, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in leading, supervising, or mentoring technical teams.
• In-depth understanding of common vulnerability categories, including the OWASP Top 10.
• Experience in incident response, vulnerability triage, and validation processes.
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
