This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct technical security assessments and evaluations of AI-driven applications, agents, and workflows.
• Apply sanctioned security architecture frameworks for AI, ML, and LLM systems across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and OT-adjacent environments.
• Design secure inference pathways, APIs, service identities, authentication processes, and segmentation boundaries in accordance with least privilege and zero trust principles.
• Establish technical safeguards to address prompt injection, unauthorized context expansion, data leakage, hallucination risks, and improper output management.
• Set up and sustain controls for regulating, monitoring, logging, and overseeing AI utilization across various platforms, models, and agents.
• Implement and verify technical controls that enhance model explainability, traceability, and output validation when AI influences operational, workforce, safety, or compliance decisions.
• Evaluate and confirm LLM usage patterns, including prompt development, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), context window limitations, and output management techniques.
• Establish controls to prohibit unauthorized external model training, reusing, or retaining enterprise data by third-party AI platforms.
• Validate encryption, access logging, retention, and data deletion controls for information ingested, processed, or produced by AI systems.
• Carry out AI-specific threat modeling tasks and share findings with enterprise and OT cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Ensure AI systems generate security telemetry, logs, and audit trails that are adequate for detecting misuse, drift, policy infringements, or unusual activities.
• Integrate AI security signals into SOC, SIEM, and incident response tools and workflows.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of AI-related incidents, including data breaches, model failures, unsafe outputs, or breakdowns in controls.
• Perform technical security assessments of vendor-supplied and integrated AI functionalities, evaluating model behavior, data management, and control compliance.
• Enforce established security requirements for AI vendors and prevent the activation of AI features without necessary security validation and governance approval.
• Promote alignment with ISO 42001 and related AI governance standards across relevant teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or risk engineering positions.
• Practical experience in securing data pipelines, APIs, cloud platforms, and analytics or ML-enabled systems.
• Strong knowledge of identity, access management, encryption, logging, and secure system design principles.
• Direct experience in securing AI/ML platforms, LLMs, or analytics pipelines is preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP) and SaaS-based AI platforms is preferred.
• Awareness of OT, critical infrastructure, or safety-critical environments is preferred.
• Relevant security certifications such as Security+, SecurityAU+, CISM, or cloud security certifications are preferred.
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
• Life and AD&D insurance.
• Short and long-term disability coverage.
• Paid time off.
• Employee assistance program.
• Participation in a 401k plan that includes a company match.
