Backoffice Information Security Associate – all genders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development, creation, and automation of reports and analyses within the realm of information security.

• Assistance in compiling reports, documentation, and tracking actions related to IT security and emergency management.

• Oversight and management of vulnerabilities, malware reports, and security incidents.

• Investigation and evaluation of current cyber threats, along with support in risk analyses (Threat Intelligence).

• Monitoring schedules, deadlines, and security-related activities.

• Organization and follow-up of meetings, including the documentation of minutes.

• Assisting the Information Security Officers and the team lead with daily operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training in IT or a degree in fields such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related discipline.

• A strong affinity for IT and a keen interest in information security topics.

• Practical experience in information security, IT compliance, or risk management is beneficial.

• Fundamental knowledge of IT infrastructure, with an emphasis on networking and/or firewall technologies being ideal.

• A structured, meticulous, and independent work approach.

• Excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level) and proficient spoken and written English.
