Cybersecurity Compliance Project Manager

đź“‹ Description

• Oversee the CFIUS Cybersecurity Compliance Program and ensure alignment with the National Security Agreement.

• Effectively collaborate with CFIUS Monitoring Agencies to fulfill reporting and oversight expectations.

• Convert U.S. and North American cybersecurity regulatory obligations—including Covered Information Protection Plans (CIPP), DFARS, FAR-based cybersecurity clauses, NIST SP 800‑171/172, CMMC 2.0, and NERC CIP—into actionable processes throughout the organization.

• Administer U.S. compliance efforts related to CFIUS, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800‑53, NIST SP 800‑171/172, CMMC 2.0, DFARS, NERC CIP, relevant federal Executive Orders, and other federal or industry-specific oversight requirements.

• Assist with mandatory reporting responsibilities and ensure preparedness for both internal and external audits.

• Collaborate with legal, technical, and business teams to uphold a proactive cybersecurity compliance stance.

• Aid in assessments and audits pertaining to ISO 27001, ISMS, and application-level reviews linked to CFIUS responsibilities.

• Propel continuous enhancement in compliance tools, workflows, and reporting, including ServiceNow, OneTrust, SharePoint migrations, Power Automate, Power BI, and effective application of AI-enabled features to minimize manual tasks and enhance audit readiness.

• Accountable for guaranteeing compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity compliance, public policy, or legal/regulatory roles.

• Proven expertise in U.S. and North American cybersecurity regulations and control frameworks, including CFIUS NSA obligations, DFARS, FAR-based procurement requirements, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800‑53, NIST SP 800‑171/172, CMMC 2.0, and sector-specific standards like NERC CIP.

• Strong comprehension of global cybersecurity frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001, UCF, IEC 62443, and the mapping or harmonization of international standards with NIST-based controls.

• Experience in a global, multicultural setting, working collaboratively across functions and time zones.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree or certifications (CISM, CISSP, PMP) are preferred.

• Willingness to work across time zones and travel occasionally.

• Experience in enhancing compliance operations through GRC, IRM, workflow, reporting, or collaboration tools; familiarity with automation, AI-driven analysis, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
