Cybersecurity Analyst II – Portfolio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Perform cybersecurity evaluations in accordance with CIS Controls, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and Roper security standards.

• Detect security vulnerabilities, control deficiencies, and areas for enhancement across various environments including endpoint, identity, network, cloud, and operational.

• Collaborate with security leaders, engineers, administrators, and analysts to create actionable remediation strategies.

• Assist in security hardening efforts and aid organizations in enhancing their overall cybersecurity maturity.

• Record findings, suggestions, and remediation advancements for both technical and business audiences.

• Monitor remediation tasks and follow up on unresolved issues.

• Clearly communicate risks and recommendations to stakeholders with diverse technical knowledge.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of cybersecurity assessment techniques, standards, and tools.

• Aid Roper's cybersecurity due diligence during mergers and acquisitions by participating in security evaluations of potential acquisition targets.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience in cybersecurity.

• A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in conducting security assessments, identifying risks, and facilitating remediation efforts.

• Knowledge of contemporary security practices across endpoint, identity, network, and cloud domains.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Capability to foster productive working relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Proficiency in managing multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

• Willingness to travel as required by business needs.
