Cyber Security Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Enhance your skills in security analysis and risk assessment by collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document security risks and controls.

• Aid in the identification and evaluation of security vulnerabilities across systems, applications, and cloud environments.

• Assist in penetration testing activities and security testing procedures to uncover weaknesses and bolster system resilience.

• Contribute to tasks related to cloud and network security, including configuration reviews, monitoring, and risk identification.

• Support the implementation and evaluation of security controls, such as IAM, access management, logging, and monitoring.

• Assist in the development and review of security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.

• Engage in security research projects focused on privacy, AI security, and emerging cyber threats.

• Help in documenting findings, risks, mitigation strategies, and technical recommendations.

• Collaborate in an Agile environment with engineering, infrastructure, and technical teams.
