Security Incident Responder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Monitor customer environments and internal platforms through centralized alerting systems to identify issues proactively.

• Conduct immediate triage on events impacting customers by utilizing established operational protocols and playbooks.

• Evaluate real-time customer impact and engage the appropriate internal engineering teams.

• Generate, update, and assign priority incident tickets to expedite issue resolution.

• Provide timely and accurate status updates during active incidents to keep stakeholders and customers informed.

• Collaborate with global operations and engineering teams to efficiently resolve customer-facing incidents.

• Oversee environments, evaluate live alerts, conduct initial triage, and direct critical events to engineering teams.

• Reduce customer downtime and safeguard digital experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Networking, or equivalent practical experience.

• Fundamental understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and TLS/SSL.

• Capability to analyze monitoring dashboards, system logs, and operational alerts for swift initial triage.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical updates during active incidents.

• Ability to stay calm, focused, and decisive when addressing urgent operational challenges.

• Exceptional attention to detail.
