This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.
• Oversee endpoint security engineering initiatives across global settings, ensuring effective monitoring and protection capabilities.
• Deliver expert support for Carbon Black, utilizing API engineering to improve, streamline, and automate security workflows and processes.
• Lead support for Cortex XDR and XSIAM, engaging in policy assessments and providing essential implementation assistance for the SOC during the XSIAM migration and rollout.
• Investigate and address possible performance issues and resource conflicts associated with security agents across various operating systems.
• Develop and implement deployment strategies for security agents, ensuring smooth upgrades and comprehensive coverage of all corporate endpoints.
• Recognize actual infrastructure challenges and convert them into specific security configurations, avoiding overly broad or generic policy solutions.
• Maintain and organize security documentation and playbooks, ensuring clear visibility into rule configurations, exceptions, and agent health status.
• Work in conjunction with core infrastructure teams, SOC, and IT support to establish the optimal strategy for agent rollouts, incident investigations, and policy adjustments.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in specialized Endpoint Security Engineering or Infrastructure Security roles.
• Demonstrated experience providing advanced support for Carbon Black, including automation through API integration.
• Practical experience with Cortex XDR (and ideally XSIAM), supporting policy reviews and SOC implementations.
• Strong background in troubleshooting complex performance and resource issues caused by security agents.
• Experience in defining security baselines, policy exceptions, and strategies for agent deployment.
• Proficient in English at an advanced level.
