Cyber HealthCare Program Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic direction for the deployment and support strategies for GE HealthCare and multi-vendor biomedical equipment managed by the HTM organization.

• Lead workstreams for the cybersecurity program, encompassing vulnerability management, patch management, secure configurations, asset inventory, incident readiness, and remediation across the supported clinical platforms.

• Act as a primary escalation point for technical, operational, customer, quality, and compliance issues, utilizing GE HealthCare escalation processes when necessary.

• Oversee productivity, case volumes, workload distribution, and key performance indicators; deliver timely reports to enhance cost reduction, service efficiency, and field execution.

• Execute and supervise device-level cybersecurity services, including patching, remediation, troubleshooting, risk assessment, mitigation planning, and maintaining accurate device security records.

• Collaborate closely with security operations center resources and internal stakeholders to define corrective action plans and promptly address customer issues.

• Work in partnership with hospital IT, Information Security, and Clinical Engineering teams to communicate risks, status updates, service plans, and progress on resolutions.

• Assist with audits, corrective action plans, quality processes, and compliance requirements; promptly report any customer quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization.

• Stay informed about competitor information, clinical device security bulletins, cybersecurity trends, market conditions, and medical device networking concepts.

• Engage in continuous improvement activities by identifying gaps in process and product quality, escalating concerns as appropriate, and recommending solutions when feasible.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent military education and experience.

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, IT networking, biomedical equipment servicing, or regulated healthcare environments.

• Experience in leading technical teams, coordinating work efforts, or driving the execution of cross-functional programs.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to articulate technical cybersecurity issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to fulfill GE HealthCare and customer background check requirements.

• Cybersecurity certification is preferred, such as CISSP or equivalent.
