Cyber Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement analytical models on data and processes to derive insights, facilitate automation, and enhance decision-making.

• Collaborate with digital product teams and internal stakeholders to design, enable, and transition production workflows.

• Utilize statistics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning methodologies on large data sets.

• Employ various programming languages and data transformation tools to assist in model development and analysis.

• Work with databases, data structures, and data architectures to provide scalable analytical solutions.

• Generate visualizations, presentations, and concise quantitative summaries for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Investigate and integrate new technologies offered by IT engineering and cybersecurity teams.

• Operate autonomously with minimal supervision while ensuring meticulous attention to detail and effective collaboration within the team.

• Mentor junior cyber data scientists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience in the data science domain; four additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.

• Expertise in mathematical modeling, encompassing theory, modeling and identification strategies, along with understanding limitations or pitfalls.

• Familiarity with relational database management systems and open-source frameworks.

• Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence technologies.

• Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
