Cutaneous Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Act as the clinical on-label subject matter expert concerning UNLOXCYT’s diverse mechanism of action, administration protocols, safety profile, and clinical advantages.

• Assist in preparing infusion sites by educating nursing staff, pharmacists, and advanced practice providers on product handling, adverse event (AE) management, and patient navigation.

• Identify and address the educational requirements within assigned accounts and offer onboarding assistance to new prescribers or care sites.

• Provide support to healthcare team members at infusion centers to promote understanding of immuno-oncology principles, infusion/injection techniques, adverse event identification, and drug–drug interactions.

• Collaborate closely with Sun Pharma’s commercial teams to ensure coherence in strategic account planning and targeted execution.

• Represent Sun Pharma in a professional manner at local, regional, and national industry events.

• Leverage clinical insights and healthcare professional (HCP) feedback to guide and shape local field tactics and national strategies.

• Engage with patient advocacy organizations in a compliant manner to support educational initiatives that boost disease awareness and treatment comprehension.

• Work alongside Sun stakeholders to assist in developing internal training materials and enhance field force education and clinical proficiency.

• Partner with fellow Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE) to ensure comprehensive territory coverage and share responsibilities as needed.

• Continuously evaluate and comprehend the healthcare landscape.

• Utilize analytics to formulate CNE clinical education plans for HCP training, assess the effectiveness of CNE clinical education engagements, and swiftly respond to bridge any gaps while supporting new and ongoing educational needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid RN license is required.

• A BSN is mandatory; an MSN or other advanced nursing degree (NP, APRN, DNP) is highly encouraged.

• Clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting is necessary.

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical oncology/immunology nursing experience is required; infusion experience is strongly preferred.

• Preferably, 2+ years of experience in a field-based nurse educator or commercial educator role.

• OCN/AOCN/AOCNP certification is desirable or a willingness to obtain it within 18 months of employment.

• Experience with oncology biologics, immunotherapies, or buy-and-bill products is strongly preferred.
