This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
β’ Assist GitLab customers in maximizing the value of our intelligent DevSecOps platform by promoting adoption, measurable results, and long-term advocacy throughout the region.
β’ Act as a trusted consultant for a designated group of customers, advising them on Git, branching strategies, software development lifecycle methodologies, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and best practices in DevSecOps.
β’ Align customer objectives with GitLab's capabilities, facilitate workshops and Center of Excellence initiatives, and convert product usage analytics into clear, actionable recommendations for both customers and GitLab account teams.
β’ Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Professional Services, measuring success in the first year through metrics such as customer satisfaction, retention, and the strength of strategic relationships established in the APJ region.
β’ Proven experience in a customer-facing role that emphasizes post-sales adoption, value realization, and customer advocacy.
β’ Background in customer success, professional services, technical account management, or a similar function involving direct customer interaction.
β’ Capability to comprehend and discuss Git, popular branching strategies, and the use of version control in customer workflows.
β’ Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including prevalent development pipelines and tools.
β’ Familiarity with the principles and practices of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps.
β’ Ability to translate product usage data and technical details into clear, actionable insights for both technical and executive stakeholders.
β’ Demonstrated skill in cultivating trusted advisor relationships, facilitating workshops, and guiding customers through best practices and operational changes.
β’ Willingness to learn, with transferable skills from related roles or industries that enhance collaborative, outcome-driven customer partnerships in the APJ region.
