This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Set up customer accounts; tailor backup policies and storage solutions; assist in onboarding; guide stakeholders; navigate admin portals; introduce support channels.
• Discover migration possibilities; evaluate usage and environment; facilitate success planning and strategy discussions; align business objectives with product adoption.
• Perform assessments; develop protection plans; suggest software products and architectures within the Veeam Data Platform.
• Execute recovery simulations; utilize the Veeam Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM) to monitor and report on resilience status; provide quarterly resilience reports.
• Track signals to identify churn risk proactively; establish mitigation strategies; collaborate on renewal strategies with actionable technical insights.
• Create business cases; determine TCO; communicate value propositions for growth; arrange checkpoint reviews with stakeholders.
• Interact with CISO/CIO stakeholders to provide clear updates on risk, status, and opportunities; support context for executive discussions and roadmap alignment.
• Partner on marketing-driven campaigns and initiatives to enhance adoption and expansion.
• Function within a long-term account assignment model linked to ARR and growth potential, typically managing 5–50 Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts with $100K+ ARR.
• Oversee the technical success plan and adoption roadmap; influence pricing, commercial terms, and renewal agreements in collaboration with Sales and CS leadership.
• A minimum of 5 years in customer-facing engineering roles concentrated on data backup and recovery (e.g., Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales SE, Technical Account Manager); this is a mid-level position.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Practical expertise across operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and DR&R best practices.
• Significant experience in designing and implementing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations; familiarity with Veeam platform capabilities is advantageous.
• VMCE certification is required (can be obtained post-hire within an agreed timeframe).
• Preferred industry certifications include: AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), Microsoft Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect Expert.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps and quantifiable value.
• Skills in engaging executive stakeholders (CISO/CIO) with the capacity to synthesize technical, business, and risk information into clear recommendations.
• Exceptional communication, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
