This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Interact with customers through Zoom calls and emails, serving in a technical consultancy and advisory capacity during the post-sales phase while offering technical and solution-oriented guidance.
• Deliver technical, architectural, and best practice advice.
• Propel the realization of measurable value (business outcomes), which fosters product adoption, renewal, and expansion.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Renewals Managers to offer customer-facing subject matter expertise aligned with the customer’s business goals.
• Concentrate on solution-oriented programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.
• Design and work together on customer workshops, demonstrations, and other enabling activities.
• Maintain specialized knowledge in one or more technologies pertinent to GitLab’s market focus through training, certification, and the creation of reusable working examples for internal use as well as for customers and partners.
• Consistently enhance professional skills with an emphasis on personal mastery and team learning through training, reading, and seeking mentorship from peers.
• Contribute to our documentation, YouTube channel, and other enabling initiatives such as the Digital Journey.
• Experience with a GitLab use case (SCM, CI, CD, DevSecOps, Agile Planning) to deliver comprehensive customer guidance and enablement.
• Proficiency in using DevSecOps tools or other highly technical tools in related fields.
• Specialization in GitLab use cases to offer detailed guidance and enablement to customers of various sizes, including large enterprises.
• Technical background in development or systems engineering.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and succinctly about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational challenges while proposing comprehensive iterative solutions.
• Demonstrated capability to establish trust as a technical advisor to customers and business leaders.
• Outstanding verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams simultaneously.
• Fluent in German.
