This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the success of a focused portfolio of strategic health-plan partnerships, ensuring revenue retention and fostering growth opportunities.
• Obtain and enhance approvals, channels, data, and subsidiary participation that position Sword in front of eligible members.
• Assess whether member access leads to enrollment, utilization, and value.
• Develop extensive networks across economic, clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
• Analyze claims, utilization, outcomes, guarantees, attribution, and ROI evidence.
• Direct account strategy, value communication, business reviews, and escalations.
• Collaborate with Sales on cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
• Leverage Sword’s internal specialists as resources while maintaining ownership of the account plan.
• Identify emerging risks and opportunities, craft strategies where playbooks are absent, and drive execution across the organization.
• Cultivate relationships, gather insights, shape business cases, and address operational and value-related inquiries to support retention and growth.
• Significant experience managing health plans as clients from a digital health, healthcare technology, benefits, navigation, PBM, payer services, or similarly relevant vendor.
• Proven track record of retaining and expanding significant payer relationships, including obtaining marketing access or similar downstream actions.
• In-depth understanding of claims and ROI economics.
• Capability to scrutinize methodology, reconcile conflicting evidence, and advocate for the account position.
• Strong executive judgment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills across various functions, levels, and competing stakeholder interests.
• Self-sufficient analytical skills.
• Low-ego, high-ownership approach to operations.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.
• Ability to excel in highly ambiguous environments where priorities shift rapidly, and success relies on judgment rather than established processes.
• Proficiency in AI: every candidate must demonstrate at least Explorer (Level 1) proficiency, using AI daily to enhance personal productivity.
