Customer Solutions Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across various teams to create and present impactful product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that tackle genuine customer data challenges.

• Conduct quarterly business reviews and monthly meetings that focus on current support activities, upgrade strategies, roadmap coordination, and customer feedback.

• Proactively recognize risks and opportunities, offering suggestions that encourage platform growth and long-term usage.

• Work alongside Sales, Product Management, and Technical Support to collect feedback, identify trends, communicate customer insights, and advocate for customer requirements to enhance the FME Platform.

• Develop and present training materials, webinars, and presentations aimed at helping customers enhance their understanding of FME.

• Acquire an in-depth comprehension of customer use cases while assisting organizations in resolving data challenges with the FME Platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, technical support, or consultancy roles.

• At least 2 years of experience with a data integration platform (FME or similar).

• Exceptional communication abilities, encompassing verbal, written, and spoken forms. Possess strong interpersonal skills, customer empathy, and the capability to convey technical information effectively to both customers and colleagues.

• Outstanding presentation skills to effectively showcase solutions using the FME Platform.

• A curious mindset and eagerness to explore new technologies, systems, and data formats supported by FME.

• Ability to think critically and devise solutions for complex challenges.

• Capability to collaborate efficiently and provide substantial feedback.

• A Bachelor’s degree in GIS or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Nice to Have: Specific experience with FME or another enterprise integration platform. Familiarity with integration concepts such as APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, spatial data workflows, and middleware solutions. Knowledge of common data formats and standards (XML, JSON, GeoJSON, CSV, Shapefile, GeoPackage, etc.) as well as relational or spatial database concepts (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server, etc.). A genuine curiosity and eagerness to continually learn about new technologies, data formats, and industry trends.
