This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Comprehend the HCP office workflow and propose electronic solutions (such as portals) designed to enhance the patient prescription experience.
• Gain a deep understanding of and act as a subject matter expert for AbbVie’s HCP-facing portals and other electronic solutions.
• Collaborate with AbbVie field teams to implement and provide solutions to HCPs within the assigned territory.
• In partnership with an HCP office, assess and diagnose potential delays and disruptions in the patient prescription experience to identify if an AbbVie digital solution could assist.
• Cultivate relationships with HCP offices utilizing a portal/solution, offering regular updates on new functionalities that align with patient needs.
• Engage with AbbVie field teams in a compliant manner.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with medications that require prior authorization and utilizing specialty pharmacies for prescription fulfillment.
• A solid understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing processes within the immunology specialty biologics sector (Buy and Bill, Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, etc.).
• Strong skills in territory and account management.
• Previous experience in health care sales or working within a health care environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to qualify for and maintain a fleet vehicle.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, aligning interests to drive results.
• Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements related to pharmaceutical prescribing.
• Demonstrated ability to identify patient needs indirectly through discussions and inquiries with healthcare providers.
• Proven capability to map out and comprehend internal processes.
• Ability to leverage gathered information to think strategically and manage complex HCP environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to influence others, including internal colleagues, through expertise.
• Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Windows and internet browsers.
