This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Comprehend the HCP office workflow and provide electronic solutions (such as portals) that enhance the patient prescription experience.

• Have an in-depth understanding of and represent AbbVie’s HCP-facing portals and other electronic solutions, acting as a subject matter expert.

• Collaborate with AbbVie field teams to implement and present solutions to HCPs within the assigned territory.

• Work alongside an HCP office to assess and identify potential delays and disruptions in the patient prescription experience to determine if an AbbVie digital solution could assist the patient.

• Build relationships with HCP offices utilizing a portal/solution and offer regular updates on new functionalities that align with patient needs and underutilized features.

• Communicate with AbbVie field teams in a compliant manner.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in working with medications that require prior authorization and utilizing specialty pharmacies for prescription fulfillment.

• Strong knowledge of drug acquisition and dispensing within the immunology specialty biologics sector (including Buy and Bill, Specialty Pharmacies, and Specialty Distributors).

• Excellent skills in territory and account management.

• Prior experience in health care sales or working in a health care environment is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to qualify for and maintain a fleet vehicle.

• Proven capability to partner cross-functionally, leveraging shared interests to achieve results.

• Awareness of regulations and compliance requirements related to prescription pharmaceuticals.

• Demonstrated skill in identifying patient needs indirectly through discussions and inquiries with healthcare providers.

• Proven ability to map and understand internal processes.

• Ability to utilize gathered information to think strategically and manage complex HCP environments.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proven capability to influence others, including internal peers, through expertise.

• Strong computer proficiency is required, including familiarity with Windows and internet browsers.
