Customer Solution Architect – Arango AI Product Suite

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical client relationship as the main point of contact for professional services throughout the entire lifecycle: discovery, design, pilot, production, and expansion.

• Conduct discovery sessions with customer sponsors, domain specialists, and operators to pinpoint high-value use cases for Arango's AI product offerings.

• Create target architectures on Arango's multi-model platform, which includes graph data models.

• Establish success criteria, SLAs/SLOs, data access and governance requirements, and a phased delivery roadmap from proof of value to production.

• Develop reference implementations and prototypes that demonstrate value early in the process.

• Assist in the production deployment of secure, observable services in collaboration with the customer's engineering team.

• Set up evaluation practices and refine prompts, models, retrieval strategies, and graph structures using both offline and online metrics, as well as A/B testing.

• Create architecture documentation, runbooks, reusable patterns, and provide training for customer engineers and end users.

• Represent the customer’s voice to Arango's product and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of graph technology (essential for this role).

• Practical experience in graph data modeling, graph querying, and traversal (AQL, or equivalent languages such as Cypher or Gremlin).

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical professional services, including the development and operation of production systems.

• Strong applied AI and Python programming skills.

• Proficient database expertise across graph, NoSQL, key-value, and document models.

• Hands-on experience with modern large language models (LLMs) and related tools.

• Familiarity with retrieval and vector databases (FAISS, pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and containers (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker/Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and CI/CD practices.

• Exceptional communication skills in customer-facing situations.
