This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as the primary internal contact for incoming inquiries from customers and the sales team regarding product details, pricing, availability, shipments, and returns.
• Ensure regular communication with customers, Account Managers, and sales leadership to facilitate timely follow-ups and resolve issues.
• Provide frequent updates on order statuses while proactively sharing lead times, shipment information, and any potential delays.
• Create precise and timely quotes for customer projects, guaranteeing accurate pricing, availability, and lead time data.
• Follow up on quotes and pending opportunities to clarify questions and assist in conversions.
• Input customer orders and maintain precise records in CRM and ERP systems to ensure transparency across sales and procurement teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to address issues related to pricing, availability, and shipments.
• Escalate complex concerns about products, pricing, or deliveries to the relevant internal stakeholders as necessary.
• Facilitate resolution paths that minimize disruption, encourage repeat business, and uphold strong customer relationships.
• Over 4 years of experience in customer support or sales support within a B2B industrial, manufacturing, or distribution setting.
• Familiarity with quote-to-order and order management processes.
• Capability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic, high-accountability environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy.
• Proficient with CRM, ERP, and internal communication tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent professional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and engage with external partners confidently.
