Customer Service Representative – Call Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Address incoming customer inquiries through phone, chat, and email promptly and professionally.

• Assist both current and potential customers with understanding policy details, claims inquiries, and matters related to premiums and billing.

• Analyze and interpret insurance policy terms to assess eligibility for coverage.

• Clarify policy details and ensure customer comprehension by providing clear explanations.

• Manage requests regarding coverage modifications, account cancellations, and customer issues.

• Recognize customer needs and offer solutions to enhance retention and satisfaction.

• Investigate and resolve problems by collecting necessary information and utilizing available resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• An associate degree or higher is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role within a high-volume environment, meeting performance metrics.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow complex procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

• Competent in navigating multiple systems and resources simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong customer service orientation coupled with professional phone and email etiquette.

• Ability to swiftly adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Open to coaching and feedback, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing improvement.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Capable of typing 40–50 words per minute.
