This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Engage with incoming customers online and via phone to understand their desires and requirements for their upcoming vehicle purchase.
• Leverage your expertise in the CarMax inventory to assist customers in selecting vehicles that align with their preferences.
• Support customers throughout the entire process, from online sales or appraisals to facilitating finance applications and coordinating vehicle delivery.
• Ensure a smooth transition from online purchasing to in-store experiences to deliver an exceptional customer service journey.
• Mentor colleagues as your expertise grows.
• Meet sales objectives while offering an outstanding customer experience.
• Obtain the Automotive Sales Persons License in designated states, which may involve testing and travel as some states require in-person applications.
• Preferred experience in sales and customer service, particularly in retail.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic sales environment.
• Strong listening abilities and a focus on customer satisfaction.
• High self-motivation to meet performance targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of learning and mastering new technologies, along with proficient computer skills.
• Flexible availability for shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to adapt schedules twice a year based on business needs.
• Candidates must reside within 100 miles of the Customer Experience Center (CEC) location.
• Except as mandated by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to paid sick leave, vacation, and holiday time.
• Full-time hourly or commission/incentive eligible Associates can earn up to 48 hours of sick time annually, accrued per pay period, and between 80 to 200 hours of vacation annually after a 90-day waiting period, depending on years of continuous service with the Company.
• Eligible for 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays annually, plus 1 floating holiday.
• If an Associate works on a scheduled holiday due to business needs, they qualify for Holiday Premium Pay.
• Full-time salaried Associates are entitled to paid time off with no defined limit for sick leave, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, floating holidays, etc., pending manager approval.
