This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• In this position, you will lead the initiative to address customer inquiries and concerns regarding all products and services through various communication channels including phone, email, and chat.
• Efficiently manage a high volume of incoming calls in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently without a script while maintaining call control.
• Assess customers' needs, clarify information, conduct research, and provide effective solutions and/or alternatives.
• Utilize company and client resources provided to accurately address calls.
• Recognize opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Actively engage in initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and uphold quality standards.
• Seamlessly transition between tasks without losing efficiency or composure.
• Exhibit the ability to multitask while using various systems depending on the client's working environment.
• Successfully complete all required training sessions.
• Communicate effectively with patience and understanding.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions with customers.
• Ensure availability at your desk, adhering to punctuality and attendance for all scheduled times.
• Uphold personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
• Be open to cross-training as requested.
• Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and security in accordance with Five Star Call Centers policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or customer support.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in a call center or office environment is required.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Technical proficiency (capable of toggling between multiple browsers and systems using dual monitors).
• Previous experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
• Experience working remotely from home is an advantage.
• Quick to learn and capable of working independently.
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills coupled with active listening abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A background check and drug screening in compliance with state and federal laws is required.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Paid Training - typically lasting 3 weeks from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (CST).
• Eligible for benefits starting on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment.
