This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• In this position, you will take charge of addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding all products and services through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat.
• Efficiently manage a high volume of inbound calls in a timely manner.
• Capable of operating without a script while maintaining control of the call.
• Identify customer needs, clarify information, research, and offer solutions and/or alternatives.
• Utilize company and client resources provided to handle calls accurately.
• Recognize upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Actively engage in initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and uphold quality standards.
• Skillfully transition between tasks without losing efficiency or composure.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task using various systems depending on the client's working environment.
• Successfully complete all required training sessions.
• Communicate effectively with patience and understanding.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.
• Ensure availability at your desk, demonstrating punctuality and consistent attendance at all scheduled times.
• Uphold personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
• Exhibit flexibility to cross-train as requested.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and security in accordance with Five Star Call Centers policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 1 year of customer service or customer support experience is required.
• At least 1 year of prior call center or office experience is mandatory.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Technical proficiency (ability to navigate multiple browsers and systems using dual monitors).
• Prior experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage.
• Previous experience working remotely from home is a plus.
• Quick learner with the capability to work independently.
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A background check and drug screening, in compliance with state and federal laws, is required.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English is necessary.
• Paid training, typically lasting 3 weeks from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Mon-Fri (EST).
• Equipment will be shipped directly to you.
• A verified internet connection (secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed) is required to support business needs, along with an established dedicated workspace (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection).
• Benefit eligibility begins on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
