This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Handles incoming telephone inquiries within a Claims Contact Center.
• Initiates claims for auto and homeowners by gathering initial loss details from agents, insured parties, and third parties.
• Provides an overview of the claims process to customers.
• May grant authorization for services like roadside assistance and rental vehicles.
• Ensures efficient and precise handling of customer inquiries regarding the status of ongoing claims.
• Guarantees that all customer interactions are clearly and accurately recorded in the claim file.
• Keeps job knowledge up to date through ongoing training and integrates new information into daily responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Takes personal responsibility for actions and results.
• Demonstrates flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Strong technical skills, including the capability to navigate multiple systems, computer screens, and communication platforms simultaneously.
• Ability to resolve connectivity issues, if necessary.
• Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM with 90% accuracy.
• Previous customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in a remote contact center is a plus, but not mandatory.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
