This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responds to customer inquiries through inbound service and sales telephone interactions, addressing a range of customer inquiries, including but not limited to processing payments, resolving billing issues, requesting policy changes, and completing new insurance applications.

• Engages in consultative conversations to assess the customer’s current insurance needs.

• Expected to provide recommendations that meet the customer's requirements while also fostering business growth and achieving goals with competitive, industry-leading life insurance and other financial products.

• Manages customer inquiries in a positive, professional manner that aligns with compliance and regulatory standards.

• Must obtain and maintain multi-state licenses while in this role: Must pass the state insurance agent licensing exam within approximately three weeks of hire.

• Must secure appointments in 39 company-designated states within the first five to seven weeks of employment.

• Must achieve licensing in remaining states where Gerber Life Insurance Company operates within approximately 45 to 60 days of employment.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

• Adheres to all company policies and standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED. - Required

• 1-2 years of Customer Service experience. - Required

• Experience in a contact center environment and relevant knowledge is considered a plus.

• Strong advantage for candidates with demonstrated experience and knowledge in the life insurance industry.

• Proven capability to serve as a Customer Service Advocate, discussing information in a customer-friendly manner.

• Strong command of business English with excellent verbal and written communication skills (grammar and spelling).

• Demonstrated excellent listening abilities.

• Proven ability to multitask effectively.

• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is considered a plus.

• Strong service acumen and sales orientation with the ability to offer additional products to meet the customer's insurance needs.

• Excellent skills in PC usage, data entry, and word processing software.

• Must be licensed in Life and Health Insurance in the home state upon hire and must be appointed to sell Life and Health Insurance within 15 business days of your start date in a minimum of 39 U.S. states, including at least four (4) of the following six (6) key states: California, Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, and Texas. - Required
